Our Pub
Why our Pub is Great
The Charlie Purley pub is named after the legendary local business man who co-founded LEC refrigeration in Bognor during the 1940s, alongside his brother Frank. Built on the site of the old LEC factory, the Charlie Purley pub is a nod to the family that made such a huge impact on the town during the 20th century.
Offering something a little different from white goods, the Charlie Purley pub has a carvery available seven days a week with a choice of three meats along with a vegetarian option, all accompanied by your favourite trimmings! Also available every day is our classics menu that includes everything from fish and chips to lasagne, and a children’s menu that’ll please even the fussiest kids. Waiting for our younger visitors is a play area for them to explore and enjoy in the comfort of the pub (and within the eye-line of their parents). For those looking to relax with their favourite tipple, we have a wide range of drinks ranging from continental ales to wines from across the globe.
